News, Events, and Calendar
There are several vehicles of communication within the school.
The Village Voice
Office staff and parent volunteers produce a weekly newsletter, The Village Voice. If you’d like to help with the newsletter, please let the office staff know. Teachers will inform parents about goings on in the classroom. You may also browse the Village Voice archives if you missed an issue!
Family Mailboxes
Every family in the school has one mailbox. Newsletters, class communication, and other information can be found in your family’s mailbox. It is located outside the main office. The Village Voice newsletter will be placed in each family's mailbox every Tuesday. Two-household families will receive two newsletters in the same family mailbox. Please let the office know if you aren’t getting enough mail for your family. We can fix that!
Please try to stop by and pick up your mail once a week. We like to see you! And we want you to be connected to what’s happening at school.
Other
To facilitate communication with teachers, each class teacher will let their class families know their office hours and contact information. Please call your class teacher and set up a time to meet if you have something that needs attention. Your teacher very much wants to know important information that will help him/her to understand and help your child. Some teachers will be available for homework help on the phone in the eveningjust ask your class teacher what the policy is in your child’s class if you want to call them at home.
